We hear there may be snow this weekend. Are you ready? Here is some good advice from our friends at the Town of Chesapeake Beach. We endorse these recommendations and want to let you know we have been planning to address the storm all week.

You can help us help you with the following:

Keep your sidewalks, steps, and walkways clear so we have rapid access to you in case of emergency.

Refrain from using open flames if the power goes out.

If you use portable heaters, keep all combustibles three feet away from the heat source.

If you have to employ a gas fueled generator, be sure it is positioned outside with the exhaust pointed away from the house.

Do not use your oven as a heating source.

If you have a fire hydrant in front of your house, keep it dug out so if we need it there is no delay in getting water for firefighting.
