| As you set about closing out 2025 and ringing in 2026, the members of the North Beach VFD want to thank you for the opportunity to serve you and look forward to the new year, our 100th year of service to being there in your time of need.
2025 was our busiest year in the department’s history, with nearly 2500 calls for service answered by our volunteer members, the career paramedics and EMTs from Calvert County Emergency Services.
If you are celebrating with alcohol tonight, please do so with moderation, ensure there is a designated driver, or plan to stay where you are overnight.
If you are using candles as part of your celebration, ensure they are kept away from combustibles and extinguished at the end of the evening.
A reminder that fireworks, specifically aerial and explosive types, are illegal in Calvert County. These devices are unpredictable, are known to cause injury and fires, and are damaging to people and pets sensitive to loud noises. They are better left to the professionals. Sparklers and ground based poppers are ok to use.
We’ll be kicking off the New Year with stories of our past and a commitment to serving you in the future.
Happy New Year! |
