| At 2149 hours, Calvert Communications dispatched a house fire in the 3800 block of Dalrymple Road (102 Box). Engine 11, Squad 1 and Brush 1 assisted in extinguishment. Chief 1 held the Dalrymple Road Command and Chief 1A had operations. Units from Company 1 cleared the scene at 0100 hours.
Mutual aid units include Dunkirk, Huntingtown, Prince Frederick, St. Leonard and Deale (AA County). These units provided tanker shuttle operations, flying brand/brush fire control, extra staffing on exterior lines, and command support.
In total, 39,000 gallons of water were shuttled to the fireground through tanker shuttle operations. |
