Navigation Training

Members of NBVFD, Prince Frederick VFD, and Prince George’s County FD aspiring to become fireboat pilots participated in a plotting training exercise today conducted by Senior Pilot Orval Thrasher.

Plotting and reading charts are essential navigation skills for members to master as they build the knowledge and abilities necessary to safely operate the fireboat on the Bay.
