Santa’s Helpers on the Move This Weekend

After a weather postponement Friday, members of the Beach House were out in force this weekend giving Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus (and the Grinch) a hand making rounds as Christmas rapidly approaches.

The department turned out Saturday afternoon for the 2025 North Beach Christmas Parade to escort Santa into North Beach. Saturday evening crews accompanied the Clauses through neighborhoods while the Grinch was kept in check in the tower.

On Sunday, some of our cadets traveled to Edgewater in a reserve engine to assist Edgewater Volunteers with their 27th annual Toys for Tots Run. Rounding out Sunday, crews escorted the Clauses and the Grinch through neighborhoods originally scheduled for Friday night.

The final Santa Run will be next Friday, December 12, starting at 6pm. Then the Clauses need to head back to the North Pole. We’ll post the route on Tuesday.
