| Search operations, under the direction of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police, were conducted again today for a fisherman who failed to return home last Thursday. Assets from the Department of Natural Resources Police, Calvert County Dive Team, Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department, St. Leonard Volunteer Fire Department, Annapolis City Fire Department, Anne Arundel County Fire Department, Charles County Dive Rescue Team, United States Coast Guard, North Beach Volunteer Fire Department, and more than a dozen citizen watermen participated in the operation.
Unfortunately, today’s exhaustive efforts were not successful in finding the fisherman. Due to impending inclement weather, search operations will need to suspended until Monday or Tuesday of next week.
