The Member of the Month is selected by vote of the Chief Officers. The monthly recognized member is selected based on several factors including; positive attitude, work ethic, and overall contributions to the department & fire service.

The NBVFD is pleased to announce that for September, we recognize Captain Bryce Callis. Bryce is a top responder and has served as an officer for many years.

Bryce oversees several of our training programs, and is always completing projects above what is assigned. Bryce was the chairperson for the new “UTV 1” committee, a new vehicle that greatly improves our emergency response capabilities.
