The Member of the Month is selected by vote of the Chief Officers. The monthly recognized member is selected based on several factors including; positive attitude, work ethic, and overall contributions to the department and fire services. The NBVFD is pleased to announce that for August, we recognize Paul O’Conner. Paul is a life member and past chief officer. Paul was recently appointed the Chair of the Calvert County Marine Operations committee. Paul recently retired following a tremendous public safety career and has been dedicating much of his new “free time” to helping the NBVFD behind the scenes.
