Our monthly department drill combined land and water operations. Fireboat 1 was used as a “floating hydrant” to draft water from the marina to supply land based Engine 11.

This evolution gave members a chance to practice obtaining an unlimited water supply for land based operations should it be needed. In addition, our newest pilot and pump operator in training gained valuable experience working together.

The fireboat was able to easily provide over 2000 gallons per minute during the drill. All water used was put back into the creek.
