Co. 1, 5, CALS, CCSO, & MSP responded for an MVC on Rte. 260 near Boyds Turn Road this morning at 0830 hours. Co. 1 units arrived to find a two vehicle collision with rollover, two Category 1 patients in the rolled over van, Chief 1A with command. Crews worked quickly to extricate the vehicle occupants. One victim was flown by MSP Trooper 7 to a regional trauma center. The second victim was pronounced deceased on scene.

The NBVFD reminds all of the importance of wearing seat belts.
