On Sunday, May 4, 2025, Fireboat 1 traveled across the Bay to participate in a regional gathering of marine assets. Organized by the Grasonville Volunteer Fire Department, and hosted by Maryland Department of Natural Resources at the Matapeake facility, fire, rescue and law enforcement boats from around both shores of the Mid-Bay met to discuss capabilities and operating procedures.

NBVFD was proud to be a part of the gathering and looks forward to the benefits of interacting with our response partners.
