Today in the NBVFD Cadet Program, training focused on marine operations and water safety. Cadets received hands-on experience with line handling, knots, rescue maneuvers, and equipment. We also got to spend a gorgeous day on the Bay serving the Twin Beaches community.

If you or someone you know is between the ages of 13 and 15, and interested in serving the community, the NBVFD Cadet Program teaches the foundations of leadership, responsibility, and excellence in the fire and emergency services.
