Units from NBVFD responded to vehicle vs. pedestrian incident in the 9200blk of Bay Avenue at 1621 hours on 06/13/2022. Chief 1 (Mills) arrived to find two pedestrians struck by a motorcycle. One victim was treated by Calvert County EMS PA219 then transferred to Maryland State Police Aviation and flown to Shock Trauma Baltimore with serious injuries.

A second victim was transported by NBVFD Ambulance 18 to Children’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Squad 1 and Chief 1A responded and assisted with patient care. Engine 11 and Utility 1 provided coverage at the landing site.

The incident is under investigation by the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office.
