At 1210 hours, Area Box 102 was dispatched for the reported house on fire in the 4400 block of Holiday Drive. Engine 11, Engine 12, Tower 1, PA219 and Chief 1A responded from Company 1 as well as other units from Calvert County and Anne Arundel County. Chief 6 arrived on scene with a two-story residence on a basement with smoke showing. Chief 1A arrived on scene, assumed command, and confirmed a working fire.

Engine 12 (1st Engine) arrived on scene, advanced an attack line, and began extinguishment of the fire. Tower 1 (1st Truck) arrived on scene, laddered the house, assisted with opening up for E12, and coordinated ventilation. Engine 11 (3rd Engine) arrived on scene, completed the layout, and advanced a backup line. Units returned to service around 1400 hours.
